MY COLOURPOP COLLECTION & SHOPPING EXPERIENCE !!

Hello Ladies!!

Finally I own a few of Colourpop Cosmetics products. YAY!! 💃💃

I am sure most of you (especially the makeup addicts like me) knows all about this brand. I wanted to try these since such a long time as these are one of the most affordable and amazing ones out there.

So if you want to know more about the brand and what all I got, please scroll down!

The Brand Says:

Welcome to ColourPop!

ColourPop was born, raised and made with love in the City of Angels. Founded in 2014 by Seed Beauty, we pride ourselves on being wallet friendly and bunny approved. We test our products in the nicest way possible, leaving fur babies to be fur babies and experimenting on people instead (the people at ColourPop HQ to be exact!). We like long walks on the beach, sipping margaritas, swatching Lippies in the moonlight, and... oops, got a little sidetracked! Back to business. Trends come and go, so it’s super important to us that you can keep up with this ever-changing industry without breaking the bank. You can try out the latest trends without serious commitment because our luxury formulas are priced for experimentation. They’re also, like, really pretty. We’re dedicated to creating the best possible products in every shade imaginable for our loyal ColourPoppers & ColourPopettes.

Things I Purchased:

Starting with the Lips section..

Liquid Lipsticks: $ 6 each

Top to Bottom: Double Tap, Kween, The Rabbit

  • Double Tap - This is the lightest of all the lipsticks I own. I received it in my May Bella box subscription. This one is from the Ultra Satin range and washes me out. So I use it mostly to lighten my other dark lipsticks.
  • Kween - The awesome metallic brownish red from the Ultra Metallic range. This is my first lipstick from Colourpop and I love it!
  • The Rabbit - The sexy bright pink shade with loads of blue undertones. This is also from the Ultra Satin range and looks gorgeous.

Lippie Stix: $ 5 each

I like their texture more than the satin or the matte ones. These apply perfectly in one swipe, settles as almost matte but does not dry out my lips. They stay put for a very long time and also comes out easily at the end of the day.

Top to Bottom: Birdie, Lumiere, Cami, Date Mate, Love Life
  • Birdie - Part of the Creme range. Another pale shade just like Double Tap. I wanted to try one of these shades with smokey eyes so opted for this light shade. However, it washes me out more than I thought, so I use it with another shade.
  • Lumiere - Part of the Matte range. One of the most famous lip shade in the entire collection! This shade was created in collaboration with Kathleen Lights and I love this one just as she loves it!
  • Cami - Part of the Matte X range. My eternal Love!! This is just the perfect pinkish nude for my lips and I love wearing it for regular days as well as for night time
  • Date Mate - Part of the Matte X range. A bright pink shade to brighten up the face
  • Love Life - Part of the Matte X range. The perfect brick red shade for me.

Mini Size Lip Kit: $ 18

The are the travel sizes and consists of 5 lip products. The collection is known as 'Short and Sweet'. Since I wanted to try from all the different lip ranges, I opted for this one:
  • Love Muffin - Ultra Satin lip. Pastel baby pink
  • Sugar Lips - Ultra Glossy lip. Golden pink with gold, silver copper and hot pink glitter
  • Schnookums - Ultra Satin lip. Mid-tone warm rose
  • Pooky Bear - Ultra Matte lip. True coral shade
  • Honey Pie - Ultra Matte lip. Bright pinky red

Now coming to the Eyes section..

This palette consists mostly of pink tone shades. I have reviewed it in depth and you can check it out HERE.

L to R: Secrets, Soft Core, Fair Play, On The Fence

Super Shock Shadows: $ 5 each

  • Telepathy - bold metallic greenish gold foiled eye shadow.
  • Game Face - the ultra metallic rich copper foiled eye shadow
Mr. Bing Eye Liner - another one from Kathleen's collection. This is the brown creme gel liner and is amazingly pigmented.

Top to Bottom: Telepathy, Game Face, Mr. Bing

I also received a eye shadow flat brush when purchased 2 of the Super shock eye shadows. It it baby pink in color, quite soft and helps place the eye shadows properly on the eye lids.

Finally a Highlighter!!

Wisp - an awesome golden champagne highlighter with gold reflexes.

My Experience With Shipping:

I had placed my order once from India but unfortunately that order never reached me. After waiting for more than a month, I came to know that my order was lost somewhere in between 😔. The Company was kind enough to offer me a 2nd delivery or a refund. Since I had a bad experience, I opted for refund which was paid immediately.

Rest of all my orders were placed from Melbourne, Australia. It took approximately 10 working days for the package to arrive to my place. All of them were packed & sealed very neatly and safely. Colourpop offers free shipping for orders over $ 50 and so I did not pay any shipping charges or customs.
Overall, I had an amazing experience with Colourpop and I love their products. These are so affordable and so amazing. Ooo and also they keep coming up with new products and I have never heard anything bad about them.

Let me know what Colourpop products do you own and if you are planning to order any new one. Let's be twins :)

Until then...
Ciao!!

  1. Its such as you learn my thoughts! You seem to grasp so much about this, like you wrote the e-book in it or something. I feel that you simply could do with some percent to force the message home a little bit, however other than that, this is excellent blog. A fantastic read.
