A CUP OF COFFEE FROM BEANSTALKANDLEAVES: REVIEW

Hi Everyone!

This post is for all the Coffee Lovers like me!!

As much as I love makeup, I cannot function without coffee. I love to try new and different kinds of coffee and also bring a few of them to home with me :) So, I was very happy when BeanStalkandLeaves Team reached out to me to taste and review their new Coffee blends. What more a coffee addict could ask :)

What The Company Has To Say!

Two hot shots on a run to take over the world!

And for that we needed lots of coffee (and tea) but there was a problem. We didn't know from where the coffee was coming from and so our first mission was to look for the source, and so we headed into the jungle, looking for coffee plants whilst fighting tigers. Yes fighting tigers! After months of fighting it out, we finally came upon something called a 'coffee estate'.
The people who were running these 'estates' were really nice and the coffee they offered us was exquisite. After a lot of thinking and a change of heart, we decided instead to get into e-commerce and deliver to the world this elixir of goodness.

My Experience

The coffee comes in 3 variants:

I just loved the way they have described all their blends! Its so bang on!

Velvet Dew
This blend is engineered to bring out the best in you and make the world a better place to live in.
Helps in putting your angry neighbours, girlfriends and your ex-girlfriend in a good mood.

This one is high on aroma with low caffeine. As soon the coffee is brewed, the house is filled with the aroma and you just cannot stop yourself from having it! This blend is for those who likes light coffee.

Shotgun
Wakes you up with a bang only to make you the most efficient sentinel being who has achieved 100% efficiency. Basically what we are saying is that you get shit done.

This is for the daring ones! High on caffeine with low aroma. If you are someone who needs a boost of caffeine to survive everyday, this one is for you.

Smooth Operator
A blend that instantly translates you into a smooth smokin killer type fellow which in turn makes you feel invincibly smooth.

Now, this one is my favourite. A blend that is a balance between caffeine and aroma. I am someone who needs to love the coffee aroma before taking a sip, so a perfect one for me! As soon as its brewed, I feel that the coffee is calling me and I am all in :).

I know, I sound quite dramatic, but when you are in love with something, you are all dramatic and poetic!

A few things that you need to keep in mind :

  • These are filter coffee and will not have a completely smooth taste as Nescafe or Bru.
  • You need a coffee machine or a filter machine to make you coffee.
  • Do not judge the taste of your coffee by its colour! The colour might seem a little light, but the coffee is strong. Brew 1 spoon of the coffee, keep adding it in hot milk and keep tasting to get your perfect one!
  • You can brew the coffee, cool it down and and use it for cold coffee or iced coffee, but it might have a little stronger taste since its a filter coffee.

Price:

Velvet Dew -          Rs. 355/250 gm
Shotgun -               Rs. 335/250 gm
Smooth Operator - Rs. 295/250 gm

Availability:

These are sold online and the team plans to soon come out in the stores.
You can order these directly from their website (CLICK HERE) and also from Amazon.

Packaging & Texture:

These come in a sealed 250 gm pack. I loved the black and white concept which makes it look so elegant and chic! All the packs have the blend names written on top with other details on the back. It has a zip lock pouch which is completely air tight, and does not require you to transfer the powder immediately to some other container.

The coffee powder is a bit coarse one which makes it easy to put in the coffee machine box. The powder stays in the box and does not pour down with the water.

Definitely worth a try if you are up for filter coffee with a brilliant performance!
